Jettblack

I went to a really inspirational talk with animators Joanna Quinn and Erica Russell last night, I see a lot of myself in Joanna, which reassured me a little because she's been successful despite her insecurities.

I'm still recovering from working as a runner on a music promo by Grain Media at the weekend! It was in High Wycombe & I had to get up at 4.30 on Saturday morning and only got home after midnight, to get up again at 6 and finish at 11. Nightmare.
It was awesome though. I got into it because I've been doing freelance graphic work for Universal Music and I begged them to let me see a video shoot. The band, 'Jettblack' were such nice guys. I met lots of interesting people and annoyed everyone by asking loads of questions about cameras and lighting and stuff. The video was looking really cool, I can't wait to see it. It's taught me a lot - I hope I get to do another one soon.
