As For Me

For the past three months I have been working at Metaphor. They're a fantastic studio that specialises in exhibition design and the masterplanning of museums and other cultural institutions. Clients include the British Museum, the V&A, Somerset House, the Imperial War Museum and so on. It’s been a really interesting experience, and as the designers are all architecturally trained I’ve been able to see projects approached in a different way.

I have only a couple of weeks left now and it is a shame to be leaving, as I feel very comfortable here now. I think it can take a while for this to happen and recommend getting placements that span this duration, so you can appreciate it more.

The future holds some freelance projects for the New Year, to see how things work on the other side of the design fence. Specifically, I’ll be designing the new website for a wonderful South Indian restaurant in Peckham.
